Hand mixed, hand rolled, baked in small batches of 20 cookies at a time. We buy a big block of semi-sweet Belgian chocolate and then hand-chisel it into small bite-sized bits. Each batch of cookies has half a pound of smaller pieces of chocolate in the dough, and then every single cookie is hand-topped with a larger chunk of Belgian chocolate at the half-way point in their baking. Dough balls are weighed (every one by hand!) to ensure consistency.
These cookies are inspired by the story of that one time I tried to rescue a deteriorating relationship with cookies. Whenever someone comes into the bakery now and asks me WHY they're called 'boyfriend chocolate chip cookies' I look them straight in the eyes, and I say in all seriousness: "They're to recover from a bad boyfriend."
Your boyfriend chocolate chip cookies will be baked and wrapped and shipped the same day. Will arrive to you approximately 2 days later (or so says USPS!). While I cannot guarantee a specific delivery date, I will ONLY ship on Wednesdays and Thursdays to ensure that you have the best possible chance of getting them quickly without it crossing over a weekend.

PS. Packages are insured so if they go missing, the insurance pays me to send you new ones! This happens incredibly rarely; despite any stories to the contrary, I've had remarkably good luck using the postal service for delivery of small packages. I wouldn't use the post office to ship a couch, but for cookies - yes 100% :)
PPS. Sometimes you need to bring in European help by way of Belgian chocolate :) Just saying.
